Holiday Fun on a Budget
The holiday season is approaching fast. Can you believe another year has passed? It’s been a tough year for many, but we can all look forward to the cheerfulness that accompanies the holidays. Here are some ways you can have fun this holiday season while keeping your budget happy too.
Homemade Decorations
Decorating for the holidays is a great way to bring holiday cheer into your home. What better way to do this than to have some fun and make them yourself? A lot of DIY holiday decorations1 can be done for a fraction of the price, and you have the added satisfaction of knowing they are your creation. If you are not sure where to start, Pinterest is a great place to search for ideas.
Movie Marathon
One thing is for certain, there is no shortage of holiday movies. Sometimes these movies are cheesy, but they can get you in the holiday spirit. Pick out some of your favorites, or maybe choose movies you have never seen, sit down with your favorite snacks and enjoy the holiday cheer with a movie marathon.
Play in the Snow
Snow days as a kid were always so magical. You got a day off from school to play in the snow with your friends having snowball fights, building snow men, or going sledding. Relive some of that magic by creating your own snow day and play in the snow with your family. Make sure to dress warm!
Holidays are an exciting time but be sure to stay safe this holiday season by following all CDC guidelines.2
